Are H1B Visas / work permits still available for this year, and why ?

Yes, almost 20,000 H1B visas are still available for this year.

This means out of the total 85,000 annual quota (cap) - over 65,000 Foreign workers have already found and secure jobs in the USA over the last few months, during the most challenging economic and employment conditions in the USA.

* You can read the latest filing report from the USCIS on this page - details

With the exception of the last 2 years H1B quotas which were filled in April (during 'peak' economic markets), when you look back through the entire history of the H1B program and compare facts and statistics about how long into the year H1B's are typically available, this year is actually more in line with historical filing volume and filing durations than many people are aware.

* Even in much stronger economic years, H1B's have still been available in the 2nd and 3rd quarters (just like they are this year).

The Process and what you need to obtain an H1B visa / work permit

If you're an International Professional or Student who wants to Work in the USA :

The Process to obtain an H1B Visa:

Step 1 - the 1st stage is you Must find an H1B sponsorship job with an H1B Employer (known as your "sponsor")

Step 2 - your H1B employer in the USA then files your H1B visa application with the US Immigration Bureau

* individuals can NOT sponsor or apply for their own H1B visa. Only Employer companies can file H1B visa applications.

* not all USA jobs or companies are available for H1B sponsorship, or file H1B visas (H1 Base deals with and connects you with the ones that are/do)

What you will need for Step 1 (getting an H1B job and sponsorship offer)

You need to 1st find and secure an H1B job visa sponsorship offer with a US company that will apply and file for an H1B visa for you.

For Step 1 of the process all that H1 Base needs to start is:

1) a copy of your resume (CV)

What you will need for Step 2 (when your new H1B employer files for your visa)

After you have successfully found and secured an H1B job and visa sponsorship offer, your new US employer will file your visa application for you (individuals can Not file for their own visa - it can only be done by the US employer company).

For Step 2 of the process you will need:

1) Job Offer from a US employer (H1B sponsor company)
2) Copy of your resume (CV)
3) Copy of your passport
4) Copies of degree certificates and transcripts or mark sheets (if applicable)
5) Employment reference letters from previous employers (if applicable)
6) Copies of any professional development course certificates (if applicable)

* The only cost that individuals should incur is for Step 1 (getting a sponsorship offer).
* H1B employer companies normally pay All the visa application and filing costs for Step 2

When is the 'deadline' to apply for an H1B visa for this year
?

This year there is No 'deadline' date, and NO lottery selection system.

Almost 20,000 H1B visas are still available.

When all the available H1B's have been filed/applied for then the quota for this year will be reached and no more applications will be able to be filed.

We expect the available 20,000 H1B's still to last for a few more months.

To obtain an H1B visa, you first need an H1B sponsorship job offer - Start Here

What are the Chances of getting an H1B visa this year ?

An H1B visa gives you the chance to start a new life in the USA - for such a great reward the journey obviously includes a few challenges along the way.

Your chances are actually much better than you might think (there is No deadline and there is No lottery selection this year - every one who gets an H1B job and sponsorship offer will get issued an H1B visa).

Thousands have already succeeded. The demand by many H1B employers is still high.

H1B employers are limited by the annual quota to hiring a total of 85,000 International professionals and students - for the whole year - before the quota is reached ---
coupled with the limited and restricted times they can recruit and can file H1B visa applications - the demand for Foreign 'H1B' workers (skilled/educated specialty professions) is still high.

Many H1B employers are recruiting/jobs are available for H1B visas this year.

Based on the current market conditions, you need to Start Your H1B Job & Sponsorship search as quickly as possible.

There are companies and services available to help you, but...
some provide "better opportunities" than others, and get "higher success rates" than others, and  help far more foreign nationals succeed and achieve their goal of living and working in the USA than others.

The fact is -every one who qualifies the H1B visa program -all Start off with an equal chance.

BUT... the key and the primary difference is what path you choose to take and how you try to find and secure your H1B job and sponsorship offer.

Over 65,000 people from all over the world have already succeeded and with 20,000 H1B's still available, thousands more still have a great chance to start a new and exciting life in the USA this year
