5 Tips To Help Make Yourself Stand Out

In the USA, searching and applying on job boards is termed as a "passive" job search method. To obtain visa sponsorship jobs it generally requires using much more "active" and "proactive" methods.

Be Different. Make Yourself Stand Out.
1) Business and economic Globalization is growing. Focus on your key skills, assets, experience and attributes that can benefit a US companies grow and expand their businesses in the continually evolving Globalized market.

2) Improve Your Resume Content, Formatting and Presentation. You need to stand out from the crowd and NOT just be another resume or 'number'. Your Resume (CV) is the first thing a potential employer knows about you and it's what they base their interview selection decisions on.

3) Be Proctive and Different. Don't wait for jobs to be advertised on job boards - fewer employers use job boards now, and advertised jobs have the highest levels of competition. Think 'outside the box' and use more proactive and go-getting methods to secure jobs first. Get in the backdoor by contacting and building relationships with key people or hiring managers within sponsor Companies.

4) Precision Target and Focus - find, target and focus only on Companies that hire and sponsor Foreign Nationals for H1B visas. Sponsor companies are the only ones that can get you a visa (applying to others may get you an interview or even a job offer, but if a company does not sponsor, they will not file your visa application for you, and your hard efforts have been wasted).

5) Network Your way to a Job. In the H1B job and sponsorship market it requires working smarter and faster to stay ahead and beat the competition. There are numerous networking methods and strategies. Implement them into your search strategy and it will result in a faster path to success.
